Happy 4th of July!

We enjoyed, yet another, 4th of July with our cousin Hailey.  We always love it when Hailey comes during the summer.  She is just like a sister to us.  We went to the parade and then watched the fireworks at night.  While we waited for the fireworks we played football and soccer.  Even Nana played with us.  The memories we made will last a lifetime.  Especially the gatorade bottle that came in handy for me to use as a bathroom!

Vacation 3

And finally we come to the end of our vacation.  Mommy's concert was fantastic.  We all enjoyed it!  What was even more fantastic was the mini family reunion we had.  It was so good to see all of our family.  After the concert we went to Canton where our cousins Chandler and Cydney moved to a few years ago.  They have an awesome ranch with cows and a horse.  We rode the 4-wheeler around the land and then took a hay ride.  Mommy and us guys shot some guns while the girls explored.  It was so much fun spending time with them.  We wish we could see them more often!

Vacation Part 2

On Wednesday we left the beach and went to Dallas.  Mommy's concert wasn't until Saturday but we got there early so we could play.  We met Mysti and Sebastian at the Galleria and went ice skating.  This was the first time for me, Molly and Daddy.  We skated for about three hours.  Boy were we sore the next day.  Uncle Bryan met up with us after work and we all went to Medieval Times.  Our Knight didn't win but I think Molly was in love.  After the show, she told Mommy she knew what she was going to dream about that night, and it wasn't the Power Rangers.  She later confirmed it was the Red Knight she dreamt about.

The next day while Mommy was in rehearsals we swam at he hotel, saw Madagascar 3, ate sushi, and went to an arcade.  We were pooped!

Vacation Part I

This year we took a 10 day vacation and pretty much went all over Texas.  First, we went to Uncle Jim and Aunt Ann's house in Brownsville.  Our cousins have a trailer on the beach so we dropped Nana and Papa off and we stayed on the beach for three days.  It was so nice being able to stay right on the beach.  Me and Molly loved swimming in the ocean and making sand castles.  We also went to Schlitterbahn.  Aside from the time that Molly got sucked off her tube in the rapids it was fun there too.  We really enjoyed going to the Wildlife conservation.  We saw real alligators just hanging out.  We also watched huge crabs play in the ocean.  Our vacation started off great!!

Molly's 5th Birthday

I'm 5!!!

Yes folks, I'm 5 years old!  This means I get to start Kindergarten!  My party was lots of fun.  I told Mommy I wanted a butterfly party.  First, we made butterflies out of coffee filters. Then Mommy read us The Very Hungry Catterpillar by Eric Carle.  Then we played a fun game about metamorphasis.  The boys had to wrap the girls with toilet paper to make a cacoon.  Then they had to race and hunt their partners butterfly wings.  Once they put the wings (headband) on the girls got to break free and fly away.  Then we went inside and played another game.  Mommy wrapped a butterfly puzzle with lots of tissue paper.  We passed it around the circle while music played.  When the music stopped whoever had the puzzle took off on piece of paper.  The last person got to unwrap the whole thing and keep it.  My friend Margo won.  I added frogs to the party too.  I thought the boys wouldn't like just butterflies.  So, we made a frog out of green paper plates and then played a frog toss game.  Then we ate butterfly shaped sandwiches, cake and ice cream. 

I am so excited that I got my Molly American Girl doll.  When we went to Dallas I got to celebrate my birthday again with Mommy, Nana and Aunt Mysti.  We ate and then shopped.  I got three outfits for my doll.  I take her with me everywhere I go!
