The Country Life

This week we stayed with the Messers at their ranch in Sweetwater before they move back to Lubbock.  David and Daddy hunted from the front porch.  The hogs came up but not close enough for them to get a hit.  Me and Molly got a lesson on chickens, turkeys, a goose, and bunnies.  We had so much fun!  Patti's Daddy gave us a tour of their missile silo.  We went way underground and saw some pretty cool things.  We are so happy our friends are coming back home!!!!

VBS

This was VBS week and as usual it was awesome!  Molly got to attend for the first time this year.  She had a lot of fun but it took her a while to come out of her shell and sing and dance.  She can be so weird sometimes!!!

Happy 4th of July!

This 4th of July was wonderful!!  The only thing missing was Daddy.  He had to work all day and missed out on all the fun.  We started the morning off with donuts and the 4th on Broadway parade.  It was a really good parade this year and the weather was perfect.  After the big parade we went home and some of our friends came over for our own parade.  We decorated our bikes, scooters, and wagons and paraded the block listening to Party in the USA and God Bless the USA.  After, Nana made red and blue snow cones with her new snow cone machine.  It was a great way to celebrate this awesome country that we live in!!!

Summer Vacation 2011

This year for vacation we went to San Antonio.  The Kinsers met us there to go to Sea World.  We all had tons of fun!!!

                                              Mommy's Old Friends
                         Before we went to San Antonio we went to Dallas so Mommy could sing with her old college choir.  She had so much fun making beautiful music with all of her old friends.  What is even more exciting is that they are going to sing professionally now.  They are called the Ken Davis Chorale.  So next time Mommy has a concert everyone has to go!!!!!  They are amazing singers!!
