'C' is for Cowboy
Each week at school we are learning a new letter. Last week was the letter 'C' so we had cowboy day. The shirt I am wearing was made for my Uncle Bryan by his Grammy (Papa's Mommy). Looks pretty good for being made 30 years ago huh? Unfortunatley, Cowboy Day ended pretty badly. I got sick at school and stayed sick until Saturday. Mommy got sick too so we spent three days in bed together. We had some good bonding time! Molly started to show signs of getting sick so Daddy got her to the doctor fast and on antibiotics and so far she hasn't gotten it.

We can't get over some of the things that Corder does.
He loves to sleep on the table.

15 Months Old

I went to the doctor last week for my 15 month checkup. Everything looked great!! I am a little over 30 in. long and still 19 lbs. That's right I still haven't crossed that 20 lb mark. However, looking at my Budah belly would make you think differently. Mommy is really enjoying the phase that I'm going through right now. It's called the Working the Vocal Cords phase. For those who don't know this phase I basically screech and scream at everything. Eating out in public has been put on hold until I'm past this phase. The newest words to my vocabulary are blue, yellow, uh-oh, and buh-ba (Gage).

Playing in the water....Does it ever get boring?

Meet Our New Addition
Whah, Ah, Ah.... all of my plotting has finally paid off. Mommy and Daddy finally got me a dog. After months of begging and pleading they gave in. This was a total surprise. I had actually almost given up on ever getting a dog and then BOOM today they show up with the pup. Actually he's two and not a puppy. Mommy asked me what I wanted to name him and I immediately said Corder. Don't ask me where it came from but that's his name. He is a chill dog that just seems to want some lovin'. I was a little upset that I didn't get to go to the pet shop but they explained that they rescued Corder from the dog pound. Molly and I both think he fits our family like a glove. We are complete again.

He's a gold winner to us!

Just Monkey'n Around
Mommy is trying to get me ready for Halloween by putting me in every costume imaginable. Apparently when Gage was my age he was a monkey. It's too big but I think it's cute!

Doesn't everyone do their best reading in the bathroom?

If you're eating I'm eating with you.
Thanks Daddy for sharing your breakfast.
Mmm, Mmm. Egg Sandwich is yummy!

Cheese!

Pre-School (Mother's Day Out)!
Last week we both started school. I am a Dynamite Dinosaur and Molly is a Cuddly Kitten. I am an old pro at the school thing but it was all new for Molly. Tuesday I had a good day but my sensitivity got the best of me. I have a hard time understanding when I am in trouble and when I just need to follow directions. But, thank goodness I have a great teacher Mrs. Lisa that is going to help me through it this year. Thursday was already better. My girlfriend Ashlynn is in my class and also sits at my table. We are going to have so much fun this year!

Talk about a slap in the face. I have gone to take Gage to school many, many times but someone failed to tell me that this time I was going to get left too. We walked into a room with a table that had lots of toys on it. My picture was even on the wall. Mommy took me over to a chair and sat me in it and offered me some toys. I thought "Hey, cool new stuff to play with". The next thing I know I look up and Mommy, Nana, and Papa are all gone. It's just me, some kid that's screaming his lungs out, and a strange lady they call Mrs. Irene. This lady read some stories to me and then I went to something called art. I painted for the very first time! Then I got some lunch. I really enjoyed sampling all of the other kids lunches too. After my diaper was changed I looked down and there's a blanket that Nana made for me laying on the floor. Mrs. Irene told me that I was supposed to sleep on it. "Huh?" I thought. Where are the bars and the comfy cushion? I indulged her for a while but only about 45 minutes. After everyone was awake we played in the big room with all of the toys. Next thing I knew there was Mommy. I had almost forgotten about her but as soon as I realized I had been left all day I started crying. It may take me a while to get used to this school thing. I do like making friends though.

See my first painting
I'm very proud of it!

Weekend in Abilene
Boy, did we have fun this weekend at Grammy and Jaypa's. It was cram packed with fishing, going to the zoo, and just hanging around playing. We really wanted to stay longer but tomorrow is our first day of school. The lazy days of summer are gone.

Ever since I was a baby I have loved to sit in Chandler's lap. This weekend was no different. There is just something about that boy that makes me happy and content.
