T-Ball, Fair, Field Trip
Need I Say More
What an eventful week we had! Last weekend we were suppose to go to Dallas but Thursday night I woke up with a fever of 103.2 and had a cough and congestion so we didn't make it. Since I was feeling better late Saturday afternoon we went to Academy for some big shin dig they were having. I got to fish and shoot my very first gun. Well Daddy aimed and I pulled the trigger.
Since Mommy and Daddy had both taken Monday off for the Dallas trip we went to the fair. I rode tons of rides but I was too scared of the big ferris wheel to get on. We had a lot of fun anyway.
At School I went on my very first field trip. I even got to ride on the bus. That was too cool. We went to the petting zoo and to see all of the animals at the fair. I liked the goats the best. I wasn't a big fan of the chicks. Things that small freak me out.
Friday I started t-ball!!! It's actually a t-ball class where we just learn how the game works. At the end of the semester we will scrimmage each other. Nana and Papa said it was more like herding cats. As I was running to 2nd base I got distracted by something in the grass and forgot what I was supposed to do. But hey, at least I hit the ball.
Molly is still doing good. She has a stuffy nose now but no fever. Mommy had to buy some contraption to keep her from rolling over at night. She checked on her one night and found her sleeping flat on her face. She still can't roll over from her tummy to her back. So Daddy made a midnight run to Wally World. I think everyone is sleeping better now.
Mommy is really enjoying work this year. She has lots of fun teacher friends who are very nice to me and Molly. They are all still enjoying the single life so they spoil us. They even let me go out with them when they have girls night out. Thanks girls!!
Here I am learning how to hit.
This goat is soft.
I sure wish I could catch a fish.
I bet this makes Jaypa proud.

3 months old

This week I turned 3 months old!!! I weigh 12lbs even and am 24.5 in long. I am also rolling over from my back to my tummy. As you can see in the video. I'm just a bag full of tricks now. Mommy's mostly proud of me for how well I do at night. She had to move up my bedtime to 8 o'clock this week cause she was having to wake me up in the morning to eat so she could get ready for work. What can I say I need all the beauty rest I can get so I can stay "too damn cute" as Papa says.

Here I am rolling!

All Dogs go to Heaven
Today we had to say good bye to our precious dog Sable. She had been suffering from cancer all summer so now she is in a better place. We love you and miss you terribly.

BALLOONS!!!!
This weekend I saw a bunch of hot air balloons. I was so close I could feel the fire as they lifted the balloons. We watched about 8 go up into the sky. It was amazing!! Unfortunately, Nana's camera ran out of batteries before they went up into the sky so there are no pictures of all the pretty colors in the sky.
Grammy and Grandmother also came to visit last week. Me and Molly had a lot of fun staying home with them and Daddy. I also started school last week. It was a little rough because my best friend Conner isn't there this year but I think it's going to be a good year. I learned rojo is red in Spanish and I also went to gymnastics. This year is going to be a blast.

Labor Day Weekend
This weekend Mommy, Daddy, Nana, and Papa took me and Molly to Clovis to see our Great Grandmother Eva Lee. On the way they thought it would be cool to stop at the sand hills in Portales. The only problem was that the sand hills are no longer there. They have let grass grow on them. They have also drained the lake so they can do work on it. So that was a total bust! Since I obviously wasn't going to get to dig in the sand we took the opportunity to take some family pictures.
After that we picked up Eva Lee and took her to lunch. We had some great Mexican food! As we were leaving Nana remembered that Clovis used to have a zoo. Sure enough it was still open. The zoo made up for the sand hills being such a bust. I don't know about Molly but I had a blast. My two favorite animals were the monkeys and the giraffe. What a fun day!

I think she looks pretty good for 93!
