My First Family Vacation

This weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to San Antonio for vacation along with: Nana, Papa, Uncle Bryan, Aunt Mysti, cousin Sebastian, Uncle Bruce, Aunt Mary, and cousin Hailey. We went to Sea World and also saw The Lion King on stage. I was in awe of everything I saw. "Wow" and "Cool" were the main words of the weekend.

My favorite thing at Sea World was Shamu. I especially liked it when Shamu splashed. The kids park was also fun. I got wet and played in a big room made out of mats. Friday night we ate at the river walk and listened to some really pretty music. Mommy was a little concerned that we didn't get to bed until 10 pm but I assured her I could handle it.

Saturday morning Mommy and Daddy took me and Hailey swimming at the hotel. It was a little cold but it was so much fun. Daddy kept throwing me up in the air and catching me. I can't wait to have a pool of my own. That afternoon we took a boat ride down the river. It was very relaxing. After that we went to see The Lion King. Mommy tried so hard to keep me awake to see the animals but I was too tuckered out. I woke up just in time to see Hakuna Matata. Then it was intermission. I sat throught the entire second act and kept commentating the show with "Uh Oh" and "Wow". Mommy assured me that Scar was ok at the end of the show. Timon and Pumba made me laugh a lot!!

After the show we ate dinner at Mi Tierra down in the Mexican Market. Then we took a walk by the Alamo. When we got back to the hotel it was late but Mommy and Daddy took me swimming any way.

I sure did have a lot of fun on my very first vacation!! I only threw one tantrum the whole time and that was for a balloon. I was a liitle impatient waiting for one. Not to bad for an about to be 2 yr old huh?

I am right below the man's shoulder
The whole school sang The Goodship Lollipop!
Getting down with the toddlers!
Well yesterday was my last day of school this year and what a wonderful year it has been. We had a program last night where me and my class danced and sang to Splish Splash. Boy, was I getting down! I was such a big boy I didn't want to sit with Mommy and Daddy. I wanted to sit with Mrs. Lisa and my class. It was a late night but it was worth it. I am ready to start summer school now!!!

Does everyone always kiss goodbye????
Yum, Yum, Yum!!
I hope I'm not the present!

This weekend Mommy, Nana, and I went to Plainview to see Mommy's college roomate Lori. She has a little girl Rileigh who is just a few months younger than me. I was a little shy around all of the new people but they did have new toys for me to play with. New adventures are always fun!

On the way home we stopped at McDonalds. I know this is going to shock everyone but I ate my very first cheeseburger!!! Mommy and Daddy have tried to get me to eat one before but I always refused. What was I thinking!!! That cheeseburger was the best thing since sliced bread!!!

YEEE HAW!!!!
Go Elmo Go!
Uh Oh! Looks like I'm in the dog house.
Hey! Who turned out the lights?
Well, Mommy seems to be very proud of my self discipline techniques. The other day I was having a melt down because my most FAVORITE tv show Little Einstein was over. Mommy is trying to teach me that pouting and screaming is not going to get me what I want so she asked me if I needed to go to the cool off chair. Much to her surprise I said "yeah!". So she watched me go into the room where my chair is, turn it facing the corner and sit my little tush in it. I pouted and cried for about 30 seconds and when I decided I was "all done" I called Mommy in. She told me I was a good boy and then asked for a kiss. I think she is still in shock over the whole thing.

Well as I am sure most of you have heard we are finally moving into our new house. Daddy has been playing with me in the sprinkler getting me ready for all of my water adventures. I can't wait!
