First Week of Pre-School
I made it through my first week of school and I love it!! Mrs. Hargrove is my teacher and she is so much fun! I made all sorts of new friends and those who know me will be very proud to know that I didn't cry all week! Major break through huh? So far I love PE in the jungle gym (gym). Music, computers and art were also really fun. I already know a lot of what Mrs. Hargrove is teaching us but I like to help the other kids in my class. I can tell it's going to be a great year!

Ready to go
Molly cried when she left me.
It took her a few days for her to get over being mad,
once she figured out she gets to be the center of attention all the time now.

The Cowboy with No Hands
Story by: Gage Davidson
Illustrations by: Gage Davidson

Once upon a time there was a cowboy with no hands.
One day he met a lady who was chewing gum.
The lady chewing gum asked the Cowboy, "Why are you so sad?"

The Cowboy said, "I have no hands, that's why I'm so sad."

So, the lady chewing gum offered a piece of gum to the Cowboy to make him feel better,

The Cowboy chewed the gum and guess what happened!

He grew hands!!!!

The End.
(Not too bad for a 5 year old huh? Maybe I need to add author to my list of
what I'm going to be when I grow up)

My Back to School Haircut
Last week I decided that is was time I had a haircut. I start pre-school tomorrow and I knew I needed a fresh new cut for back to school. Unfortunately, I cut it myself. Nana caught me trying to discard of the evidence but the tell-tale sign was on my head. I just knew that Mommy was going to be so upset with me but Nana and Papa assured me that she did the same thing when she was little so she couldn't get mad at me. Sure enough Mommy and Daddy both thought it was funny. I guess there's another lesson learned the hard way.

It's a little shorter than I usually have it but at least hair grows!

Wiggles Go Bananas
This weekend I finally got my birthday present from Mommy and Daddy! They took me and Gage to see the Wiggles live in concert. I was a little disappointed that Greg wasn't there but Sam did a great job. I guess you could say that I'm more of the old school Wiggle girl. After the initial shock that they were right there in front of me I had an awesome time. I danced in the aisles, shook Murry's hand and had a ball singing along to my favorite songs. I'd have to say that Dorothy was my favorite!! I just couldn't wait for her to come onto stage!!! We also had a great time staying at Sebastian's house. I'll have Gage tell you all about that later.

Nana and Papa bought me a Wiggles shirt to wear to the concert but it was too big.
So, Nana did some of her magic and thanks to Aunt Krisha's advice
turned the shirt into the cutest Wiggle outfit there!!

Up close and personal with Murray

Sippin' on some of Mommy's Diet Coke! Mmmmm, Mmmmmm!!

Oops, busted

Here I am Getting Strong

Swimming Pool 1, Gage 0
Let's just say that I am learning a lot of lessons right now. I was determined to show off for Mommy and jump into the pool backwards. She told me it wasn't a good idea and that I'd bust my face, but did I listen "NOPE!" I'm sure you know what happened next. Apparently I'm very lucky that it wasn't worse. I got two stitches and was the bravest I have ever been. Mommy gave me my Spiderman sunglasses to wear so I could channel all of his powers. Man, did it work! I didn't even flinch or cry when I got the shot. For those of you who know me know that's a HUGE deal. I just took some deep breaths and before I knew it I was all stitched up!

Rocket Time
A few years ago Mommy bought a rocket model at a garage sale. Daddy thought it was about time to shoot it off. The first time it almost shot out of Daddy's hands. It's amazing what a little baking soda and vinegar can do.

we were expecting a loud bang

Trip to Abilene
We went to Abilene to celebrate Jaypa's 60th birthday. We had a great time especially out at Grandmother's house. We went fishing, and Mommy and I got to shoot out first guns. Molly also got her first chance to drive. It was hot but a lot of fun!!

Do you like my truck?

Molly decided to take a dip in the lake while we were fishing

Mommy shooting a gun for the very first time.

This actually wasn't the first time I've shot a gun.
I shot one at Daddy's work once when they had a big thing out front.
But I think Daddy helped more that time.

I got a chance to brush up on my skills.
